Kee Neng Woodworking Factory Sdn Bhd (KNW) was founded in 1955 by the late Mr. Tan Kok Keat. We primarily supply timber and joinery products to the local construction and development project. In order to cope with the 1997 Asian financial crisis, KNW expanded its business activity towards the global market. As a member of Malaysia Wood Moulding and Joinery Council (MWMJC) and Malaysia Timber Industry Board (MTIB), KNW has exported its first container to Finland. Within 10 years, KNW has supplied over 10 different countries with various timber species. With our growth in the worldwide market, we started importing foreign timber species to meet our customers’ demand. We had obtained our Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) in 2010. Due to the increased in business volumes, we bought a land and start building our new factory in year 2012. We have been fully operating in our new factory premises since year 2016.
